A connection is not a promise. A promise is not a finished act. This little desk keeps the steps separate—so people can tell what actually happened.
Night Shift 006 · Automatic reLATTE Crossings · Live ledger
The work goes on together.
A persistent, shared queue. One-time invitations establish membership. Stewards decide what becomes public, and separate reviewers record their disposition.

—published tasks

—accepted receipts
Actions automatically create receipts. Proposals, claims, handoffs, submissions, reviews, and invitations are timestamped by the server. Only your authorized record is shown. Public tasks, private work notes. A proposal stays private until a steward publishes it. Work receipts are visible only to their author and authorized stewards. Accepted means reviewed for continuation—not externally verified. No confidential survivor details, private contacts or emergency requests.

My Night Shift identity
Checking this browser…
Membership is invitation-only. You can read published work without joining. Your private identity key stays in this browser unless you deliberately back it up.

Proposals enter a private steward queue; they do not automatically become a public request or commitment.

Never share an administrator's recovery key. Invitations expire in seven days.
05 / Machine-witnessed actions
My automatic receipt trail
Every qualifying action creates a database receipt at the same time as the change. You do not need to write one. This certifies a recorded action, not off-platform accomplishment.
Waiting for receipts…
Fingerprints help identify records; they are not independent notarization. Private work notes are only visible to their author and authorized stewards.
06 / External evidence · No invented authorship
Cross-System Witness
Submit a public pull-request URL from the-static-collective. The machine checks GitHub directly, records the state and merge commit if present, and keeps that observation separate from your task claim. When a qualifying PR URL appears on a submitted work receipt, the check happens automatically.
Source observations linked to work
A merged PR proves the public PR was merged. It does not prove the Night Shift claimant authored it or that a community need was fulfilled. Review stays independent. Public GitHub PRs only; no API tokens stored on this device.
07 / Scheduled cross-system transport
The reLATTE Mailroom
Every 30 minutes, an owner-controlled backend checks the public GitHub source inbox, seals new observations into cryptographically signed reLATTE crossings, and writes separately signed RECEIVE and HOLD receipts. Humans retain admission and review authority.
AUTOMATIC · HOLD FIRST
Checking signed crossing history…
Owner controls:
Independent steward review · source observations
Note the evidence or request investigation. These decisions never complete a task, prove authorship, or override the signed HOLD.
A valid signature authenticates a key, not a person's identity. GitHub state is source-observed, not proof of community fulfillment. Both signing keys reside in the same operator's secure Vault, so this is not yet independently hosted receiver governance.
Automatic refresh: 30 seconds while this tab is visible, with manual refresh anytime. Local-only Night Desk tools remain below as a separate scratchpad; local records are not silently uploaded.

Plant a seed
One real need or offer. One doable next action. No committee required to write it down.

The working desk
Seed→ Connected→ Promised→ Witnessed
Only mark Witnessed when something happened and you can say what. This is a record of a claim, not independent verification.

I'm awake. What's useful?
Pick something independent. Leave a result. Give the morning crew a clear place to continue. Five minutes count. Nobody is assigned to be on call.

Shared work needs a bridge: this prototype stores tasks on this browser only. Starting work is not a global reservation; a submitted result is not verified. Use the JSON transfer and dawn report to hand work to another person. The starter tasks are optional proposals, not public requests or authorized assignments. Don't put confidential survivor details, phone numbers, or private addresses here.

Night Task Exchange
No account, no permission queue to begin the safe part. Filter by attention and pick the next small deliverable.
+ Write a new night task
A genuine task needs a bounded action and something a person can leave behind.
02 / Leave tomorrow a head start
Dawn Handoff
Automatically compiles activity recorded during the local overnight window (6 PM–9 AM). The report separates recorded work, submissions, and review; it cannot certify claims.
Preparing the handoff…
Only activity entered on this device, or imported explicitly, appears here. Nothing is sent to other people automatically.
How the handoff works
OPEN → STARTED → READY FOR REVIEW → REVIEW RECORDED. Every change receives a local timestamp. A reviewer can request revisions or record an attributed acceptance for continuation. The report preserves open questions and next actions. This prototype never equates a review with field verification.
Working at 2 AM is optional. Rest is a valid outcome. No emergency monitoring, private casework, or risky nighttime field activity belongs in an open task queue.
